What we fund and why
Quantitative finance education is expensive to deliver properly. The tools, datasets, and instruction time required to teach gradient boosting or random forest applications in real portfolio contexts add up quickly.
bajucie allocates a portion of every paid enrolment toward subsidised access for learners who demonstrate genuine interest but lack the means to participate at full price.
How access decisions are made
Applications are reviewed by a small internal panel - no automated scoring, no algorithmic filtering. We read what applicants write about their situation and their goals.
Priority goes to learners from underrepresented backgrounds in finance and technology, career changers without formal quantitative training, and participants from regions with limited access to specialist education.
Does receiving a subsidised place affect the learning experience or access to materials?
No. Subsidised participants join the same cohort, use the same datasets, complete the same assignments, and receive the same instructor feedback as full-fee learners. There is no separate track, no reduced curriculum, and no visible distinction between participants. The only difference is the amount charged at enrolment.
Partner institutions and community reach
We work with libraries, community colleges, and employment support organisations across Leinster and Munster to identify learners who would benefit from structured quantitative training.
These partnerships are informal and practical - no lengthy MOUs, no institutional bureaucracy. A coordinator refers a candidate, we review, and we respond within five working days.

Institutional partners - what to expect
Partnering with bajucie does not require a formal agreement or ongoing commitment. Organisations can refer individual learners on a case-by-case basis, and we handle all communication with the applicant directly.
We ask only that referrals are genuine - that the coordinator has spoken with the person and believes the programme is a reasonable fit for their current situation and learning goals.
Capacity is limited each quarter. We are transparent with partners about available places so expectations stay realistic on both sides. When a cohort is full, we maintain a short waitlist and notify referrers as soon as the next intake opens.
